Calgary Zoo

We "prehistoric" older people loved the Zoo! My husband really enjoyed the Whoo Doos (mountainous terrain) in the Prehistoric exhibit. What we thought was the greatest was that where these mountains are buffer the highway noise on the other side. The animals were just okay in the exhibits, but some of the buildings that housed these animals were really really nice. I liked the gardens, we stopped under the shade of a Spruce, ate an ice cream, and enjoyed the day. I will say, with 12 or so windows at the entrances, and 15 to 25 people per window, it was a ZOO outside!
