THE ATLANTIS DISCOVERY CHANNEL CAMP

The camp features five diverse areas:

• Exploration and History - Adventure begins around an authentic replication of The Atocha, a famous Spanish galleon that sunk in 1622. Both, a play and an orientation area. It provides youngsters with an overview of the adventures awaiting them throughout the day.

• Technology Lab - State-of-the-art computers linked to the internet, image scanners and real video camcorders let kids make personalized movies, postcards and posters.

• Science Outpost - Kids will be hands-on with working microscopes, magnifiers, live animal touch tanks, aquariums, and specimen collections of fossils, bones, animals and plants.

• Nature Crafts - Children will have a chance to express their creativity through sand sculpting, wild artwork, puzzel making and Bahamian crafts.

• Expeditions- Outside, the world's largest marine habitat, second only to Mother Nature, beckons exploration. Kids will see over 40,000 marine animals, representing 150 species, from schools of giant sharks to sea turtles and sawfish. They will also explore the Dig, a maze of passageways and chambers revealing how life may have been over 11,000 years ago.

Rates and Hours

• $30 morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
• $12.50 lunch option from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
• $40 afternoon session fron 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• $15 dinner option from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• $45 Evening session from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• $70 Full day session from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ( includes lunch )
• $85 Sunset session from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. ( includes dinner )
• $120 Deluxe session from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. ( includes lunch and dinner )

** Lunch and/or Dinner is included if child is on the MAP or Gourmet Meal Plan.
This applies to the evening, Full day, Sunset and Deluxe sessions.

Session Guidlines

• Children must be at least 4 years old at time of attendence.
• Any combination of sessions may be booked.
• No discounts are offered for multiple children from same family.
• Program substitutions may be made for special needs children.
• The ratio of supervision is one staff member to five children. For water activities the staff will increase.

Cancellations

• Refunds are not given for cancellation, however, an alternative day is suggested if available.
• Cancellations made within 5 days or less prior to departure are non-refundable.
