Reviews:

“wonderful time!”

Atlantis Royal Towers

My husband, daughter 11, son 7, and I stayed at the Royal Towers from Aug 16-21. It was wonderful. I booked this trip back in Feb and followed this website the whole time, so needless to say I was nervous considering all the negative reviews...
Our check in was easy and fast, in our room (ocean view, 14th floor, fabulous!) by 2pm. I immediatly checked our towel situation and we had none, so I simply called the front desk and within an hour
we had more than enough towels and they apologized.
Like everyone says, this place is incredible. We went with an open mind, just wanting to have a great time and we did!! It seems like some people need to just nit-pick everything (as far as reviews go). We had no issues with the service, in fact, we had better service there than in some places around New England! These people are not servants! I treat people the way I like to be treated, with respect, and that's what I got.
The only damper we had was the day it poured, and poured. This was due to tropical storm Fay. After the storm passed,
we did jet ski's, parasailed (awesome!!) and took a water taxi into Nassau for cheap gifts. Also ate at Senior Frogs while we where there, that was fun too.
On our last full day we did the Robinson Crusoe excursion to Rose Island. That was the highlight of our trip, the beach was just amazing. Lunch was great, and snorkling was a blast. If you go, don't forget the sunblock!!!

As far as food goes, yes, it's pricey, but if you've been following this site, you'll go prepared and it'll be less painful. I got very annoyed at so many reviewers complaining about the price of the food, ect... just something else to complain about I guess.
We brought tons of snacks, we hit the local market for water, soda, beer, as soon as we got there and went there a few more time as well, it's just a short walk from the Coral Towers.
Follow advice and bring a cooler for the drinks and snacks.
We ate at: Atlas Grill -excellant
Mosaic- excellant breakfast
Platos (twice) - excellant breakfast
Marketplace -it was okay (breakfast)
Carmines- excellant
Murrys Deli- excellant
All in all it was a fantastic vacation for us. We did the currant several times, what a blast! I did the leap of faith with my daughter, that was great too, everything was.
Just be prepared, and go with an open mind, I'm sure you'll have a great time too.
Oh, I do feel badly for the previous reviewer who got injured on the tube ride. They were having some issues with it when we were there too, thankfully none of us got hurt. It was insanely fun when we went on it.
