Great Honeymoon destination

We booked for the Sandals Grand Bahamian for many reasons. First and foremost it was all inclusive. "Like a cruise on land, including booze." The second reason we booked was because of the country, neither me nor my wife had been to the Bahamas, and it was an excellent host nation.

Follows are some impressions good and not so good of the Sandals Grand Bahamian. The pools and swim up bars are excellent. Don't expect the bar tenders to talk much. They're either stressed from the volume of requests, or not thrilled they can't be tipped. Additionally go "off menu" on drinks, if you like mixed drinks. The resort menu offers some tasty drinks, but the alcohol content is quite low. The bar tenders tended to be more generous on off menu items. BEAUTIFUL beaches, especially on Sandals Cae. DO go to the Cae. We found the main resort beach to be too busy as all beaches in the Bahamas are public. Many beach vendors are there. The Sandals Cae is private and much more relaxing.
All in all for our 7 days, 6 nights at Sandals we were very pleased with the entirety of our stay. My wife and I are planning to visit other Sandals resorts in the future, especially now that we have learned so much with the restaurants and activities. I hope if you go there you will enjoy it as much as we did.
Much better than we expected!

We went to Sandals on a company-paid trip. We had never been to a resort before and expected the worst and we loved it.
The grounds were nicely maintained, the rooms clean and well stocked.
The staff was beyond courteous, helpful and polite.
We thought at all-inclusive resorts the staff would not be attentive, but they were fantastic!
Make sure to go out to the Island and try the Conch Soup!

My Husband and I spent our honeymoon at Sandals Royal Bahamian 4/9/2007-4/16/2007 and it was truly an UNFORGETTABLE time! I would recommend this resort to anyone and have! We are planning another trip to Sandals Montego Bay, but only to go somewhere different. I would love to go back to Royal Bahamian. The service was great, food was great, and the rooms were very clean and comfy. I dont know how anyone could complain about this resort. They truly make you vacation enjoyable. Everyone should go!! Its worth EVERY PENNY!
