Great Honeymoon destination

The restaurants were mixed. No one restaurant was bad, but food quality definitely varied. Baccarat was the best quality food for the week with the Crystal Room closely following. Get to the Crystal room at opening, you'll get in. My impression of the other restaurants, with the exception of Kimonos, the rest are indistinguishable from Applebee's quality. We went to the Crystal Room our last two nights and would have more if we tried it earlier. Also was disappointed in the quality of some ingredients. Orange juice is NOT freshly squeezed. It comes from a can. And it tastes like it too. Fruits in meals also came from cans. Additionally beer selection is severely limited. It's bud, bud light, and Bahamas own Kalik, and Kalik Light. You're in a Corona commercial setting, no Corona. I would have paid for them by the end of the trip if they were offered.

DO make all your reservations in advance. We arrived Sunday and could not get into Baccarat until Wednesday. Other documented restaurants requiring reservations did not require them the week we went. However, if you like snorkling, line up all the days of the week you want to go as soon as the dive shop opens. We got out on Monday, but enjoyed our trip and did not get back to ask the shop until Thursday, all excursions were booked for the rest of our stay. However, they take you to the same location each time. Time of day may vary. Also book any off resort trip early. We wanted to go swim with dolphins and got around to it Thursday, again completely booked.
