“A weekend getaway to The Cove Atlantis 9/26-9/28/08”
Excellent! From the moment we arrived from the airport to the unfortunate moment when we had to depart back home, we were greeted with friendly, courteous staff and superb accomodations. Would you believe a maintenance personnel working on something in a hallway offered to get me ice as I'm walking down the hall with the ice bucket? Being in the service business, this was very impressive and I've shared this story with my employees upon my return. The property is beautiful with rich, dark woods, marble, water features and landscaping. The place was spotless and very well decorated. Our suite on the 9th floor was very spacious with a large bathroom with double sinks, a walk-in shower and separate bathtub. The room was well appointed with 2 flat screen televisions on the wall with a Bose surround system wired into the bathroom. A step down into the living room area led to the balcony with a view that overlooked the pools & slides area as well as the beach and ocean.
The Cain behind the Cove was great with an adults only pool area with private cabanas, outside bar and gambling tables! How sweet is that? Outside on a tropical island, by the pool, drinking, watching college football and gambling!
We went specifically to see Rob Thomas perform a solo, acoustic charity show and were not disappointed in anything the entire weekend. We live in Fort Lauderdale and will absolutely take the 40 minute flight go back to The Cove again and again.

The Cove Atlantis
So my fiance and I went to the Bahamas for 2 wks. It was our firs time there. I must say...it was the best vacation we ever had! We didn't pay for the hotel so we're not sure how much it really was but we researched it later on and it is pricey BUT it is worth every penny! The room we had was very very clean. The bed was king sized and it was amazingly comfortable. We had a mini living room by the balcony with a big flat screen TV. We also had another flat screen TV by our bed. The bathroom was really big! It had the tub and shower separate. The bathroom also had two sinks and the toilet was in its little room with a door. The view from our room was just breathtaking! We had the view of the whole resort. We could see the ocean and the pools with the water park. Room service was really good too. The food was good but a little pricey. We would have breakfast at their restaurant every morning and it was just delicious. It was a buffet! We loved how the resort is just huge! There is so much to do just in the resort. You don't even have to leave the resort to enjoy your vacation. The resort has its own big casino....we loved it! It has it's own restaurants...which are really tasty! We also enjoyed this adult pool...it was just beautiful and they don't let kids under 18 there. Also the resort is just feet away from the ocean...just beautiful! There is just so many positive things about this resort. We are already planning on going back again.
The only thing we didn't like about the Bahamas is that when we went to go watch a movie in the city...well...it just wasn't as clean and pleasant. The resort and the city are two different worlds. I guess that's why they have sooo many things to do at the resort. I could just go on and on about it.
We definitely recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!
